  7.      pnmtorast - convert a portable pixmap into a Sun rasterfile

  9. SYNOPSIS
  10.      pnmtorast [-standard|-rle] [pnmfile]

  13. DESCRIPTION
  14.      Reads a portable pixmap as input.  Produces a Sun rasterfile as output.
  15.  
  16.      Color values in Sun rasterfiles are eight bits wide,  so  pnmtorast  will

  18.      automatically  scale  colors  to have a maxval of 255.  An extra pnmdepth
  19.                                                                       --------
  20.      step is not necessary.

  22. OPTIONS
  23.  
  24.      The -standard flag forces the result to be in RT_STANDARD form; the  -rle
  25.      flag,  RT_BYTE_ENCODED,  which  is smaller but, well, less standard.  The
  26.      default is -rle.
  27.  
  28.      All flags can be abbreviated to their shortest unique prefix.
